Prime Star Abadi is seeking a dedicated Assistant Captain to join our team. As an Assistant Captain, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our vessel, supporting the Captain and crew in all aspects of maritime operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, contributing to the safety and efficiency of our maritime operations.

📋 Tanggung Jawab Pekerjaan

Assist the Captain in navigating the vessel, including chart plotting, route planning, and monitoring navigational equipment.,Conduct pre-departure and post-arrival checks to ensure the vessel is in good condition and all safety protocols are followed.,Monitor vessel performance, including fuel consumption, engine maintenance, and other mechanical systems.,Maintain accurate records of vessel operations, including logs, reports, and maintenance schedules.,Assist in the training and supervision of the crew, ensuring they are familiar with safety procedures and operational protocols.,Coordinate with port authorities, pilots, and other maritime personnel to ensure smooth docking and undocking procedures.,Participate in emergency drills and ensure the crew is prepared to respond to any maritime emergencies.,Assist in the preparation and implementation of the ship's daily work schedule, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.

🎓 Kualifikasi & Syarat

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Assistant Captain or similar maritime role.,Valid STCW Basic Safety Training (BST) and STCW Advanced Fire Fighting (AFF) certificates.,Knowledge of international maritime laws, regulations, and conventions.,Familiarity with navigational instruments and equipment, including radar, GPS, and ECDIS.,Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively interact with the crew and other maritime personnel.,Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often under pressure.,Proficient in English, both written and spoken.,Possession of a valid maritime license and a clean safety record.
